Four Year Ago Today........

I was lucky enough to marry my best friend. We met each other when we were both kids and had a platonic relationship for a very long time. Often we express feelings of wishing we wouldn't have wasted time on other people and relationships but I don't think we would have ended up married had we attempted to date each other in college. We came together when it was the right place and time and all the stuff that came before were just assignments and guideposts leading us on our way.

When I look back on these past few years I am nothing if not amazed at how much we have grown and how much life has changed for us. Career changes, a house, a beautiful little girl and a business that my husband literally built from nothing and duct tape. And shoestrings, lots and lots of shoestrings. He is pretty 'effing talented at what he does and you don't have to take my word for it. Check out his work

I know that Southie loves his work but I also know the real reason why he pushes himself so hard. Everything he does is for our daughter and us. While I will always take more time with him over material possessions or money, there just aren't enough words to tell him how grateful I am for everything he does for me and our daughter.

I love him more today than I did the day we got married (wouldn't have thought that was possible) and so happy that he didn't date me in college but picked me to be his girlfriend forever instead.

I love you Southie. Now and always.
